Wash Linens How Often

How often do you wash your bed linen/pillow cases/duvet covers?
If you make your bed every day right after you get up - you should wash linens that come into contact with your body once a week, but definitely not less than every two weeks (except pillow cases- those should be done weekly). If the duvet cover has a sheet between you and it, wash it less often - but no less than once a month.
However, if you air out your bed for at least on hour every day, you can wash the sheets less often - 2-3 weeks. The airing out allows the sweat the evaporate, making the bed much less hospitable to odors, bacteria and even dust mites. I would still wash pillow cases every week though.
