I need suggestions on making my wedding dress.?
I want to make this wedding dress for my upcoming wedding.

I was thinking about modifying this pattern http://butterick.mccall.com/b4659-products-6862.php?page_id=363 and using a corset busk for the front instead of buttons.
I was wondering what fabric I should use for the body, I want a fabric with a similar body to the one in the photograph. Maybe a white linen? The underskirt would be tulle.
I'm not a master seamstress by any means so any other suggestions would be great.
I think silk would be really nice...you could build in a real corset too, not just the busk part, to give it a really nice shape
