Im getting married in August and having problems figuring out decoration HELP!?

I am getting married and I we are having about two hundred guests. We rented out the local community center to save money, but now, i dont know how to decorate. I want to use plastic table covers against the wishes of relatives. Is there any website that shows you how to decorate plastic table covers? How would you guys decorate plastic table covers for an elegant look.

I agree with your relatives. If you are going for elegant, then plastic table covers are not it. If you can't afford linen table covers, then be creative. Head over to the fabric store and buy fabric in bulk and make your own table covers--all you would have to do is really measure it out and sew the edges to clean them up.

* Use flowers to decorate the room. Buy in bulk to save money.
* Candles--candles always add a nice ambiance to a room, so use them liberally. You can add them to centerpieces and utilize different sizes and heights.
* You can string small, white lights on the ceiling of the hall to add twinkle.
* Don't forget to match your food to the mood, so if you are going for elegant, one doesn't think messy food.
