Registering for Table Linens for Bridal registry? Need some help.?

OK- maybe this is a dumb question but I seriously don't know if the sales lady was just trying to get me to register for it anyways or if it will look OK.
We just bought an antique dinning room table and it's oval. I have never owned an oval table before. Can you put a Oblong table cloth on it? Will it look right?? I was afraid it would hang funny in the corners. The store I am registered at has nice linen table cloths but they do NOT make the oval shape in any of the brands. And Yes, I did check other stores but it seems they are also limited in shapes and sizes for fine linen tableclothes.

Personally, I like an oval on an oval table. BUT you're right - hard to find cloths in oval. Yes, an oblong will work; just know that the corner areas will drape a bit lower/fuller than an oval cloth would. But for a formal setting, that's fine.
