Selling Shirt Laundry Services and Linen Rentals?

I've been ask to help try and expand my companies business. We are a Shirt Laundry and Linen Rental Company. We pick-up and drop off your Laundry at home, work, or wherever you want us too. My question is: Isn't that a service you either want and already have? or dont want it and have no use for it? Also, we go to different shirt laundry companies and do thier work as well. How would you ask them for thier business? Because most of the time if they want someone to do it they already have someone to. If anyone has a suggestion I would be greatly thankful.

We processed over 2500 tons of linens in 2007, and that was a bad year. We only deal with commercial accounts. We outsource the delivery to another company with a GMC W4500 16' box truck. Ten years ago, when I was a kid, we did our own delivery. We'd service $10 retail accounts on a regular basis. We don't do shirts anymore.
With fuel costing what it does, we couldn't do that. Our service is getting 6-8 tons daily. Many stops have 300-500 lbs of product per day, like motels. Even in this situation, it is cheaper to outsource it. There is NO MONEY in delivery of laundry.
If you asked my parents for their business, they'd break out laughing. Business is slow. We'd never give anything away.
