Plastic Round Linens

I am trying to figure out what to do for table linnens!?

I have invited about 175 people excluding bridal party,

Plastic table cloths and sit down dinner do not mix. Go for he linens, for absolute certainty because shiny plastic tablecloths have deep folds and are so very tacky, for sure.

I kind of like the idea of mixed sizes of tables, if you are creative and can arrange them in a pleasing way. Play with the idea. Get graph paper to map out he floor plan, one square = one foot. Then cut out the table sizes, 8 round and 13 rectangle shapes. Move them around on the paper and if you can come up with something pleasing, then stick with that floor plan. Otherwise, go with all rectangular tables and round for the cake and gift tables.

EDIT: to your additional comments: knowing that there is limited space, you should eliminate the round tables all together and just go with the rectangular ones because they hold more dinner guests and will take up less room. Also, eliminate the two round tables you intended to use, one for cake and one for gifts because those are two very big tables, especially just for one cake. See if you can bring in a folding card table for the cake because it is only about 40" square.
