Cloth washrags or linen napkins allow for adding warm water and soap, to get yourself really clean after a bowel movement. They recycle after a good laundering with bleach. They don't fall apart in your fingers, and your hand stays cleaner. Why continue to cut down trees for an inferior method of personal hygiene? What did people use before there was tp? Cloth, that's what! We have regressed because of capitalist paper industry propaganda.

the same reason people use other disposable products like paper towels and diapers...its fast, easy and convenient. imagine the looks you would get if you went to the laundromat with a whole basket of poopy towels??
