Should I wear this to a graduation at the fairgrounds?

I was planning on wearing black linen bermuda shorts with a black-and-white empire waist top (linen as well with spaghetti straps) and black leather sandals. The fairgrounds are not fancy and guest will be out in the open -- direct sunlight -- which is why I've selected this outfit. I bought it from Max Studio so I'm thinking it'll look OK. What do you think?
