Rent apartment in Moraira - 'Casa las Palmeras' is located approximately one mile from the small and traditional Spanish resort town of Moraira, a favoured holiday spot for families and the retired. The apartment is part of a select development set in mature gardens with two barbecues and two swimming pools (one with a shallow end for small children) which are for the exclusive use of residents and their guests. Well located in a secluded and scenic area, the property commands superb views overlooking Moraira and the surrounding hills. A car is recommended although there are local shops, a restaurant and bars within walking distance.

Moraira is an atmospheric former fishing village with an impressive marina, a medieval fortress, a variety of excellent restaurants, bars and shops, and a colourful weekly market. The resort boasts two main sandy beaches with Blue Flag status, both of which are particularly suitable for children.

This Moraira apartment benefits from one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. A well-equipped kitchen leads on to a lounge/dining room with 3-seater sofa, armchair and dining table and chairs for four people. The bathroom comprises a bath with overhead shower, sink, toilet and bidet. Leading from the lounge is a spacious balcony with a table, four chairs, and two outdoor armchairs, which is perfect for sunbathing and al-fresco meals. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province The climate on the Costa Blanca is ideal for the holidaymaker, enjoying over 300 days of sunshine a year and boasting an average temperature of 18ºc. There are many places you can easily travel to from Moraira including Calpe, Benidorm, Javea, Gata de Gorgos and Guadalest with its innumerable shops and original Spanish castle, all on top of a mountain with breathtaking views. There are also the added attractions of the theme parks in the region, including Terra Mitica with spectacular exhibits and a host of exciting rides, the water fun park Aqualandia and the sea world park Mundomar. All three are within an easy 45 minute drive.

Moraira area The relaxed and picturesque town of Moraira is nestled between the mountains and the sea. Originally a small fishing village, Moraira is now an attractive but traditional resort with much to offer the holidaymaker. Moraira has an abundance of restaurants to choose from and being a fishing community, there is no shortage of fish based menus to tempt you. If fish is not for you, there are also many other different traditional Spanish dishes available as well as international cuisines to choose from. Look out for the "menu del dia" (menu of the day), which is a three-course meal, including wine, offered by most restaurants at a set price. The weekly market held in the town every Friday is well worth a visit with everything from fresh fruit and vegetables to traditional items such as Spanish lacework and leather bags for sale. Moraira also has many boutique stores selling clothing, jewellery and local arts and crafts and all manner of souvenirs and holiday gear. The resort has two main gently shelving sandy beaches with Blue Flag status, which are ideal for families. The local leisure facilities include golf courses and other sports such as tennis, mini-golf, squash, scuba diving, jet skiing, go-carting, and of course walking and riding in the surrounding hills. The theme park Terra Mitica, the water fun park Aqualandia and the sea world park Mundomar, are all within an easy 45 minute drive.
